Manaslu Region, Nepal
Located in Western Nepal in the Gorkha District, the Manaslu region opened in 1991 for trekking and still allows limited numbers of trekkers. This untouched trekking routes offers spectacular mountains views and a genuine adventure with spectacular beauty and cultural diversity. Trekking along the Tibetan border, the circuit gets into the Gurka region and crosses ancient Tibetan traders traveling routes. The inhabitants are Tibetan, Gurung, Magar, Chhetri and Tamang for one of the most exciting cultural discovery. Crossing the Larkya La pass at 5100m is a challenging experience but offers majestic views of altitude peaks of the Himalayan ranges and glacier lakes. Manaslu BC trek is a fabulous challenge for those who want to confront with hostile, breathtaking and remote environment.
