Royal Chitwan National Park was declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. This park is situated in southern central Nepal, covering 932 sq.km covered with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. The park headquarters at Kasara is 21 km drive from Bharatpur which is 20 minutes by air or 146 km by road from Kathmandu. In this park there are many Resorts hotels and lodge to accommodate.This famous park offers a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the dense forests of the park. You will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhino and lumbering elephants, crocodile, python and deer; brilliantly colored birds and if you are fortunate - the superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Sharing home with these are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards and wild cats etc. Another most important factor adding to the chitwan experience is the colorful Tharu Culture, their way of living, culture and tradition and heart touching Tharu Dance. Here you will do many activities likes Jungle Safari on elephant back, jungle walk, canoe ride, jeep drive etc.

Kathmandu Chitwan National Park |
Our tour begins in the early morning driving by private car, jeep ,van or by bus ride which is about 5 hours journey and watch the landscape transform as you travel from the cool climate of Kathmandu's hills and terraced fields to Chitwan’s subtropical flood plains and grasslands. When you reach the national park, enter a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines that is home to rhinos, elephants, crocodiles and deer. You might even spot the elusive Royal Bengal tiger! After arriving in Chitwan we check in the hotel. After lunch, take a ride in a bullock cart, the local form of transport, to visit a nearby tribal village and museum dedicated to the culture and history of the indigenous Tharu people. Return to your hotel for a pre-dinner cultural show performed by a local troupe. |

Day 02. |
Chitwan National Park |
You will spend the morning at your leisure, then after an early lunch embark on a jeep safari to the Chitwan wetlands. Your wildlife safari leads you deep into the jungle, where you might spot one-horned rhinos, deer, bison and monkeys. Keep a look out for less commonly sighted animals such as bears, leopards and Bengal tigers. Return to your hotel for an informative slide presentation on Chitwan’s vegetation and wildlife conducted by a naturalist with a wealth of knowledge about Nepal. |

Day 03. |
Rapti River Tour |
Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. + Jungle Walk + on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing. |

Drive back to KTM |
After breakfast we drive back to KTM and transfer to your hotel |
